| WARNING: Before reading get some Tylenol ready ,my english might give you a severe headache... My name is Jasper I am 26 years old. I joined the forum October 09, 2004, but August 2005 when I become active here. Since August, I have been doing a lot of reading from the past and checking some of the old write-ups that some of the vets did. I have found that back in the days when vets comparing performances and not really worry about the looks much. Almost everything for them were just having fun and not much of competion like it is now. I have witnessed some also that most of them do their own worked and they get their hands dirty and took their time to write so some of us noobs could learn and hopefully help us when we do the same job. Also I found that they stick together and help each other out. Upon reading some of it, it made me think for a moment…that the new generation was no way near compare to the vets IMHO. So what is this new generation have become I ask? Only vets would know for sure. My observation was SOME of the new generation didn’t really care much at all, and failed to see how was this Z community begin and how it become what it is now.(agree?) Some new generation members get mad at me sometimes if some ricer would come here and start badmouthing the Z after purchasing a new turbo charge sedan.
This is my main reason, it’s very disrespectful IMO not only to me as a Z owner and also for the vets that helped that noob that used to be a member here. So what happen to the good ‘ol Z brother/sisterhood? Aren’t we supposed to stick together as well?
Nowadays, noobs would come and show pictures of their Z , what car they beat on the street, what kind of body kit, wheels, sounds system they just installed. And some felt like the pressure is on and they have to do the same shit in order to fit in. Z32 family is not all about this. Nobody care if you go to the Z meet with dent on your Z, I don't.
Most vets are laughing at us. IMO I think we are now all about show and less of an enthusiast like them.
So, how can we show them that we could represent the Z32 community like they do now? Who is going to be the next who? These are the question… Yours truly,
